This activities correspond to Result 4: Rural communities in the project area activate and manage family-based cultural tourism services).

• A 4.1: Training of Co-hosts and Technical Assistance for Creation and Management of Family-Based Cultural Tourism Services: This activity is crucial for empowering local communities. It involves planning, selection, and implementation of training and technical assistance for 6 co-hosts to enable them to create and manage family-based cultural tourism services. Training covers identifying properties, engaging families, creating and publicizing tourism offerings, and managing booking services;
• A 4.2: Creation of a Pilot Family-Based Service to Promote Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism Practices: This activity aims to establish a practical framework for family-based tourism. It includes mapping available properties for tourist rentals, defining minimum access criteria, organizing public events to inform residents about opportunities, selecting participating families, creating municipal registries for family-based accommodations and certified co-hosts, and establishing a pilot intermediation service to connect demand and supply.
