• Location:
The Garni site is situated in the Garni Municipality, within the Kotayk Province.

• Current Situation & Needs:
While Garni is a more established cultural tourism destination, there is a need to enhance its tourism attractiveness, particularly towards unaddressed market segments. A key requirement is the training of local hosts in English language to improve visitor experience. From a conservation perspective, the restoration of the 3rd-4th century mosaics in the bathhouse is an absolutely high priority.

• Project Interventions:
The project prioritizes the restoration of the Garni mosaics.
Garni is considered a "replicator" site for the project, meaning successful strategies here can be adapted and applied elsewhere. The project will also contribute to improving overall tourism services and skills.
